Default Srt Gs430 - Ok

I'm stuck on the orange wire for engine ouput and input. I searched and found other people haad the same problem, but no responses. SRT is closed already.

All the instructions say is "to engine".

I'm dead here..

I understand the orange INPUT should be coming FROM the engire wiring, but where is the output from the ECU?

OK, I guess they are wired INLINE with each other.

Orange and green are wired on the SAME line?

OK got it..

The black/yellow (blue/yellow) wire is cut, then that function is rerouted to the SRT ECU.

I think I'm good.

LOL - sounds like you got it!! The output wire from the car ECU is the only wire that is actually cut into 2.

It's definetly noisy. I'm sure I'll get tired of it after a while, more reason to drive slow.

About the power increase, it's VERY slight. Besides nitrous, I suppose it's good for HP per $. I think..

My initial G-tech readings were slower than stock, but I need more testing to figure that out. Highway speeds SEEM a bit quicker, but the power increase isn't enough to make you stop and say, "now THIS is fast!"

I guess I'm pretty neutral about it so far.

I was just thinking, maybe the impression of increase in power with this mod is due to the fact that you want to hear that growl and drive at WOT more often than before. The intake and ECU may only provide a little more WHP but if you're standing on the gas all the time, you're constantly reminded of the strength of the V8 (intake or not).
