dumb question about spark plug wires on a gs400

Default dumb question about spark plug wires on a gs400

gs400's use a coil pack system yes? if so, do the spark plug wires still need to be changed?

there are no spark plug wires

there are coil packs which last a very long time

okay then why would the service advisor say i need new plug wires when they are going to change my plugs on our gs400 (we're overdue)? is he thinking gs300?

don't say that because i have to do the timing belt soon at this place... i've tried all the private shops locally and i have no confidence in them

Sorry, but those are the choices. He either made a mistake OR hes trying to get over on you.

If it was me I would think up a question to ask him that would let me know by his response wether or not hes honest.
