Default Supra TT Auto LSD...install questions

I am in the process of ordering a Toyota Supra TT TRD LSD and was wondering if I needed to purchase the Supra TT (manual/auto) axles as well? This will be replacing the stock differential on a 1998 GS400.

I know with my old SC I needed the axles, but I could not find any information on the GS.

Thanks in advance

I definitely did not need the axles for my GS430, just replaced the pumpkin - bolted right in.

When I got my 3.76, there were 2 mini axles that came with it. Hard to remember, but I want to say they were about 6 to 12 inches long and the lexus tech had to tap then into place on the unit itself. If that's what you mean by axle, make sure they come with your part.

All that is needed for the TT swap is the center section

i installed it myself in about 1 1/2-2 hrs .....if you are doing this make sure you have 10mm And 12mm HEX sockets

good luck and enjoy

do you plan on doing it yourself ?

Twinkie did you find a good place to buy these? I haven't had much luck finding one at a reasonable price.
