I am thinking of installing the Dragon TC this Spring, and doing nothing to the rest of the drive train. I am very concerned how this will handle during a normal Michigan winter, which is ice, wet snow, black ice, etc.
Am I going to loose control with level-headed acceleration, even with VSC on? Is a 2800 rpm TC a bad choice for a gs that is driven all year long, sometimes in nasty road conditions ???
Also, I drive my 98 gs400 almost 3000 miles a month, for personal use and business trips. I have heard from some that there will be very little difference in mpg during normal acceleration..... has anyone actually measured mpg before and after??? Are we talking about a 2 to 3 mpg drop with Dragon TC????
I also have a modified air intake and RMM sport exhaust and ECU chip on the Air flow Sensor.
I appreciate the "windshield time" a lot of you have done with the TC upgrade and am very interested in your advice and experience.
to be honest, i am not sure if this is a good mod for you. coz' when you accel, the engine will very easily high rev, and it's more power to the wheels. even with vsc and snow mode, that's more power to the ground and might not be a good idea
and yes, i have the tc and i don't really notice any difference in the mileage
