stupid question again, how do u correctly reset your ecu

Default stupid question again, how do u correctly reset your ecu

just installed srt intake, now i need to reset my ecu, after doing a search i found out that pulling the negative on your batter is not the correct way. also my car needs spark plugs, do u guys recommend the torque master plugs or just go with some toyota or lexus plugsl. thanks. fyi mods are apex exhaust and srt intake, my car is a 2000 gs400

disconnect you battery terminals and leave them off for one hour. you can also do this by pulling the ecu fuse in the engine compartment. i don't know which fuse it is. can't go wrong with the battery terminal.

i think an hour is a little too long

more like 5- 10 min maybe 15 min

Just leave them off 15 minutes and it will reset.

yeah disconnect the negative terminal for about 15 mins

about teh plugs, a lot of us have tq master and so far so good
