Greddy EVO 2 Installed...WOW!!!
Not only is there a noticeable difference in sound but more importantly performance! After much contemplating over the various cat-back systems available to us GS owners (L-tunedparts.com making matters a little difficult- they all look great!) I finally decided to go with the new EVO2 setup in order to replace the HKS that I had on the car. Having owned the Greddy MX cat-back on my old SC3 made the decision making process a little easier and biased towards Trust-Co.
My Review: sound wise- loud growl at ignition but relatively quiet at idle, seems more quiet than the HKS' were @ idle. At lower RPM's/low speed cruising, the drone is a bit more louder/noticeable than the HKS- but not obtrusive (at least not to me
). Then as I began to merge onto HWY GA400 and decided to open her up- DAAAMN! That's what went through my mind...Louder and more responsive when really opening the throttle. Since my GS4 is sc'd, as much as I hoped I would notice an increase in power with a full cat'back set-up as opposed to just cans, I just wasn't sure if it would be that significant- but obviously so now. After NOPI this weekend I plan on taking the car back for another couple of runs on the dyno to see exactly how much of a difference I've accomplished with exhaust changes alone before dropping pulley sizes on the SC. As for the looks, I must say all that stainless-steel looks realllly nice in the undercarriage- too bad it's there to all go unnoticed! The HKS' did fit perfectly flush with my L-sportsline bumper cut-outs though while the Greddy tips are a tad smaller in diameter and set back just a little- maybe this is something I might be able to get modified though. In summary, the HKS sounded beefy and like I had a little something- loved them and would've kept them but I needed a catback. With the Evo 2 the car sounds like a racecar- it sounds fast! It's just comforting to know I got the goods under the hood to back it all up!

congrats on your mod but im stuck on the two exhaust systems, the hks hyper or the greddy evo 2. basically i want what a V8 suppose to sound like, something mean and aggressive so i too would like to see some pic's and sound clips it might can help me out
Sorry, the pics could've been taking a little better but it was already almost midnight and we were ready to go home so just a couple of quick snapshots were taken. I have a couple of mgpegs but not sure how to upload them here!

Might have to sell my L-tuned and get these... they look sweet.
I just remembered reading somewhere that this particular cat-back is not recommended for non-aspirated engines. Just thought I'd mentioned this to you guys before any of you consider running out and purchasing. You may want to contact Greddy and get the full scoop firsthand.
Hope this helps!
