200? that's way too low, your car can stall

when in idle (in park), i am at about 500 to 550rpm. i might play around with the throttle cable to make it 600, but that would be the max i go

Mine is around 750 in park and 650 in drive. BTW, each hash mark is 200 rpm...

Mine's 750, depending on your applications (mine's twin turbo aristo engine), 750 might be a tad high.

650 when the car is WARMED up already, with ac off, and gear in drive? man that's very nice

Well, I went out and started it to see, and the engine was still warm from an earlier drive but maybe not completely. I'll check again later but I believe those numbers to be accurate. I know some have mentioned a low idle problem but I've not seen it with my car yet.

that's very good. if your car is fully warmed up with ac off, and you are getting 650rpm in drive, you will not have idling problem for sure man

OK, updated idle rpm numbers:
Engine fully warmed up with AC on (in "auto" where I always leave it) idle in park is 750 rpm. In drive with AC on it is 650 rpm.
Turned off AC, rpm stays at 750 in park, drops to about 500-550 in drive. Perfectly smooth idle under all conditions just like a Lexus should be!
Sorry to hear about the problems some are having; seems like it should be easy to diagnose and fix...

ah yeah, 500 is more like it some people with 500rpm they start to feel some roughness and eventually car stalls. i havent' experienced that yet, but i am also looking towards raising the rpm to around 600 as well

When the car is cold (parked over night):
1,100 in PARK
800 in DRIVE

When the car is FULLY warmed with nothing on (i.e. no A/C, no parking lights, no headlights, no radio, etc.):
800 in PARK
500 - 550 in DRIVE
Note: DRLs are on

When the car is FULLY warmed with the lights or A/C on:
800 in PARK
650 in DRIVE
