Default more hp?

I got a 2001 gs300, what is the best bolt on hp gain, excluding turbo and sc?
what should I do first to get more hp? I searched but didn't really find the answers, thanks.

Like most people looking for Horsepower for really cheap...you could start with an Intake and Exhaust....I'd suggest an SRT Intake and for an exhaust....well I haven't heard too many good exhaust yet, but Borla and Blitz Nur Spec comes to mind.

thanks for the reply, srt intake is on my list, is borla a lot louder than stock exhaust? where are the best prices for those units?

IMO Borla is only loud on the first start....when you turn the car on...as far as cruising speeds and highway speeds its almost like stock with a little bit of growl.. As far as price you can find them for around 500-600 new, but watch for the Forum For Sale here at CL you can find one used for 400ish
