When I got GS400, used, I've done 2 5,000 mile changes, 2 7,500 mile changes, and now I'm goning to stick with 10,000 mile oil changes. I'm using Amsoil 5W-30 and Toyota 20004 filters.

 

i do mine every 4000 Kilometres (not miles) or 3 months. Whichever comes first.

 

Allright I guess I will do 5,000 miles.

A few questions

1) What type of oil to use? 5w-30. 0w30, 5w40? Im using mobile 1 btw.

2) Where can purchase a lexus oem filter online

3) anything else I will need?

how many quarts for the I6 3.0 litter engine?

I will most likely have a friend do it .He is good with cars and such

I would think oil and filter is all you need. types and such are in the manual. I'm pretty sure it's 5w-30. searching will work wonders here. there's some controversy about the oil filters, though
