Now for the results of the exhaust.

The first thing I noticed besided the increase pick up of the car, was the lack of droning sound. Between 1K-2K RPM the drone was so minimal unlike when I had HKS, and I could feel my car vibrate. Overall I am very well please with the exhaust. The power through the band is overall very good, and the car takes off a lot harder than before. And the sound while cruising is low, so I am not concerned with cops, unlike the HKS. I liked the HKS but after a while all the sound took a toll on my head.

I'm not sure if anyone else has the Carson Tuned exhaust with the GS cars, but if so chime in. It was well worth the wait in picking this exhaust. Who's next?

Thumbs up Very nice!

Does the midsection on this exhaust include resonators to replace the stock ones? If so, I'm wondering if the different resonators account for the performance increase you're noticing? I like my RMM, but it would be nice to have the mid section too if it flows better (as long as it's no louder than the RMM) I would really like to hear the Carson exhaust on a GS4!

Nice choice... You now have one of the finest and exclusive exhausts currently out for the GS.

My question to you is," How did you miss this thread?" https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=106847

Future: The mid section does have the resonators but they are more hollowed out than the stock to allow better air flow which means better performance. Might make the noise level a little louder but not much...

with flying colors.... As long as you don't remove any cats, you should be fine.

I have this setup + SRT intake & ECU and pass smog...

Erick, the Carson Tuned Exhaust fits all models for GS (300-400-430) There's no way to just buy the midsection since it's a whole kit. I believe the exhaust starts at $799 but I could be wrong...may be a little more. Take a look at my "Beauty of Stainless Steel" thread for closeups of the exhaust.

Chris,

Congrats on the new exhaust, looks great and I can't wait to hear one in person. Blackdiamond in ATL also got a set about a month ago for his GS400 ==>https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=112907

I have it on my GS300. I'll write more about it later. Just need to do a minor adjustment first. I love it.

Hey Ken,

I saw your thread long ago, I just did not want to high jack it =) When I saw it on your GS300 I knew that was the exhaust I had to buy.
