We just finished one up for a customer. World renowned LS kit manufacturer Sikky just wrapped up their kit. We tested one of the first production setups. Bolts right in like OEM. I know it's not up on the site yet but I heard they are taking pre orders. The design concept is similar to their other kits where it comes with an oil pan designed specifically for fitting the SC300/400 IS 300 etc. Motor mounts, trans mounts and headers, even clutch master cylinder and power steering line kits. Everything fit so well be basically did the swap in one day. Makes it easy for the backyard DIY guy cause there is absolutely no fab needed. You can see some of their other kits at www.sikky.com

Yeah, with this kit it is super easy. Thats the way Sikky designs there stuff so it is bolt in friendly and a backyard mechanic can do the install without headache.

I sold this guy the 4.8 thats in his sc300. It was out of an 06 1500 if I remember right. Pretty budget swap if you arent looking for a full blown LSx.
That particular 4.8 had the ls6 casting heads on it. I had ls6 vavle springs put in it and the later model z06 cam.
Hes also got a 4l80 auto behind it. Makes good power for 12psi. Sure its a blast to drive.
