Need advise
Hello CL member's I'm going try and make this short as possible I bought a 96 sc300 a couple years ago with the intention to fix it up and have reliable DD my car ran ok then . Before I could fix her up I came a across a deal on here for a five speed swap which I got .After doing the swap my car want start I tried ever thing I could thing of and what I found on here. Finally I took my car to a friend of mine shop they still can't figure it out I'm done. Too much money going into this car thinking about parting it out and starting over with something that's as lets miles and minor issues. Oh my car had 348 thousand miles paid 500 for it I don't want to give up but I thing its time I figure take the swap out might hold to that try to make my 500 back .What should I do ?

Well it seems that you have some passion to do some modding, or you wouldn't have done the swap. I say fix it and continue to drive it. Even the 2JZ quits, there is still the potential to continue to keep it and boost it. When you say you have tried everything, what exactly have you ruled out? Did you bypass the neutral switch?
Where in TN are you???

Here you go, last post is the proper way. Another dude did this with an sc400 and worked for him. And me, and anyone else who has done a proper swap, or quick and dirty a3xx auto to 5spd swap on any Toyota/Lexus in the 80s/90s/2000s
