Default Car runs better with MAF unplugged (part 2)

Okay did some more testing.

MAF plugged in = car runs like total ****... its slow.. seriously feels like there is 100whp... Oh and wastes gas too.

Unplug it and boom it has power (although kills gas like no tommorow).

So far I have done the following.

New ECU
New MAF
New Denso O2 Sensors
New Plugs
New Coolant Sensor
New Fuel Filter

And the car still feels sluggish.

Please hit me with some info... its going to be something weird I know.

I didnt see plug wires, and fuel filter listed, If it was my car I would want a competent mechanic to look at all the values on a scanner.

Look at it this way. The other components routed through the maf are the Intake air temperature sensor (THA) and the throttle position sensor (VC).

It seems like your problem started when the temperature started getting hotter, so my money is on the intake air temperature sensor.

Hope I could help.

Awhile ago I got an IAT CEL... but never again... Not sure which MAF it was with...

TPS... I actually played with it at a stop light... Turned it a few degrees... felt better (maybe in my head) but I need to recalibrate it back to stock resistance....

Same thing with me - when the temperature is high, the car sucks, I have to unplug te AFM for it to go wild - However when this is done, my full tank would do 150 instead of 260 miles, and u can smell that the car is running SUPER RICH - its like swimming in a pool of Gasoline with CO in the air

I would probably say it is the temp sensor in the AFM, its located on the left side from the bottom of the big silver metal thing on which the AFM is actually installed - Check it

Or u can build a chip using a 555 timer to trick the ECU into thinking that the AFM is sending a signal, but the signal sent would be customized by u - I can post the link to it tomorrow, its on my other laptop and am too lazy to look it up now

phoienx since u are manual y didnt u install a safc just makes more since. so u can really take advantage of that 5spd. or u can look for the blitz ecu which u WONT FIND ive only seen 1 on a ebay auction. but i will have a safc up soon fs. i think it will help u a little but with ur tuning needs what else were ur plans for the car also have everthing u need but my question to u is how does it still feel sluggish after a manual swap.
i thought that in the higher rpm range the car would pis on any other car. u know u should make a tuning list of stuff u want to do make the car faster what im going to do have u thought about adding cams or getting bigger headers. even better pistions and all that good stuff.
