24 dollars shipped from marvin crawler. google it. get the one for the r154. they specialize in trans rebuilds and toyota rock crawlers.

the shifter seat is 10, the pivot ball is 6 and shipping is a whopping 8.

i ordered mine on thursday. should be here some time next week.

the stock shifter seat is made out of rubber and after a while it deteriorates. mine is nonexistent as of right now. the new one is hard plastic i believe. the shifter.

that seat will work for sure in all w58 and r154 that have the internal shifter. if you have the 95+ w58 or the later version r154 i dunno if it will work.

quick q which might be part of my problem. I didn't do enough research, and I dont believe i had complete luck with searching, but does the R154 use the same amount of fluid for the Soarer as it does for the Supra?

simple way to do fluid. remove the drain plug and drain all the old fluid, remove the fill plug and then put in the drain plug. keep filling til fluids starts to slightly pour out of the fill plug. thats how all the transmissions work as well as diffs.
