Default Crashed 1JZ MKIII Now drop into sc300

Hi this is my first post. I just crashed my supra with a 1JZ swapped into it. And SCs look sick with some rims. I've had two supras and I want a change. I've been reading some good information on here and it seems like I can use my Engine and trans as long as I use my front shaft too yes? I already lengthened my harness for the previous swap, will still need to do body plugs i guess. But im excited and am looking for a shell to get started. Any info on how using a 1jz Supra motor would make more easy/difficult would be appreciated. thanks, cant wait to get started.

I think your going to have to change the oil pan and shifter. Also the wiring.

Oil pan doesnt need to be changed. Its in the correct place. ECU plugs dont have to be changed, but the body plugs will need to be modified. I gave you the link to the parts you will have to buy to extend the shifter for $76 and a wait from japan. If you can extend your harness and swap a 1jz into your supra you can drop one into your lexus no problem. You will need different motormounts too btw. I believe some 97-98 Mk4 TT mounts will work but dont quote me.

Don't buy the shifter parts from japan, buy them from Castle Hill Toyota in Australia. They keep soarer parts in very good stock. The only thing they had to special order for me from Toyota of Japan were the 1JZGTE underhood decals, and that still only took 3 weeks to get. Usually parts come within a week.

Thanxs, appreciate all the replys. Im so pumped the SCs look so dope and not only that my friend has one that he thinks is so sick, can't wait to toast his stock 1UZFE( think thats it) I got 2JZ cams, walbro, 550s, and a SAFCII. NVR figured out how to hook up the boost control after swap, people say its easier with engine out of car. Anyways I'm fair in mechanics but still had a bit o trouble wiring my last swap, hope people don't mind me asking questions.
