Default Engine Hoist

When using a engine hoist what do you guys use to prevent the hoist from crushing your bumper?

take off the bumper its not that hard the only complicated part is u have to remove the headlights and foglight/side markers wiring or do like i did n cut it and run new wiring if ur not that electronically educated disconnect the wiring and tape and mark em up and u should b fine im currently working on gettin my sc back on the road soon my bday is the 26 of this month so i wanna get it back out b 4 then lol best bet take off the hood , bumper and head lights radiator to , youll get more space

maybe just a towel between the bumper and the hoist. the only time ive used an engine hoist, my bumper was off but if you want to go the easier way, I'd just use a towel.

Extend the boom on your lift. Most of them are adjustable, slide the boom out farther and presto.
