Default Help!!! Please Help! My Car Is Dead And I Dont Know Why!

Okay, today I was driving home and all of the sudden my battery light started flickering off and on. I notticed everything getting dimmer, and dimmer untill finally everything went. My lights were so dim people were telling me to turn them on. I kept going until I got home to analyze the problem. I hooked my battery charger up to it and it said it was 100% good. So that knocks out Alternator and battery. I also checked my ground wire and it wont budge. So it has a good connection. I even took the wire off to clean it. Still nothing. I dont know whats wrong. I have two 18" subs in the back but I turned them off as soon as I saw the problem. I have been noticieing that everytime I go to start my car, it starts slower and slower and slower every time. PLEASE HELP ME. This is my daily driver and everything. BTW its a 95' SC400
THANK YOU SO MUCH

still get your alternator checked. and completely disconnect your amp to see if it's draining any power. there is more than one ground point btw. if you search for grounding points there is a diagram floating around with all of them.

if it does that while you are driving, i would check the alternator, it might not be holding charge

Sounds like the Alternator is fading..but not completely gone.

Also, you might as well have that battery tested at Autozone to make sure..

Your car can die out from either a bad battery or a bad alternator.

This sounds more like an Alternator issue though to me.

Agree with everyone on the alternator. May want to get a higher output alternator to run those 18's

def sounds like the alternator... if you have a mutimeter hold it up to the batt while the car is on to see if its getting around 13.8 to 14 volts. If not, your alt. is shot.
