Car doesnt start on its own...need help!!
Well I changed the alternator couple days ago, along with the battery car ran pretty good for awhile...then came today and my car wouldnt start thought it was the starter but once I jumped it it started fine....checked the voltage for the battery and alt..was good at first then the volts started to drop...me and my dad think theres a bad connection some where cause my car is getting enough power...what could this be?...new alt and battery but volts start to drop...Im thinking its the 4g alternator wire that is bad or not connected properly cause my battery starts to lose volts...if anyone has had similar problems please help me out...thanks..also I tried searching but did not fine sufficient info on this particular problem...

hmm since u replaced the alternator..
this happened to us..
we replaced BOTH alternator and battery.. drove it around felt perfect!
next day we were doing stuff
while i was driving to kragen to get my core money for my alternator.. everything started to die out..(ie lights, my radar, radio, etc)
we got to kragen.. got it checked out.. the person didnt know crap..
well we got home.. jacked the car up and went for another look
found out that we didnt PLUG it in ALL THE WAY (the plug behind the alternator..) since it WAS a really hard.. squeeze
soo yea maybe u shuold try to check that out :\
after we plugged that in.. everything was perfect after that
