Hey guys just wondering for all of you with the 1jz or even 2jzge/gte how do you handle the dual cutouts on the bumper?
I know a lot of people just leave a hole there but fro those of you that didn't, did you just fill the hole in or is it possible to have a custom 6-1-2 design, say headers heading to a cat to a 3" y pipe to 2.25" dual out back (pipe sizing is for the stock power 1jz-GTEs of course, adjust size for different power outputs)
Would that work or would it screw with the back pressure and the turbo? Would it lower midrange power, because theoretically it seems like it would work pretty well as well as fill in the 2 holes in the back.

3" DP to Flowmaster y-pipe(3" to 2 X 2.25") to dual apexi WS mufflers
Also, with turbo no need for back pressure..less is better. Turbine itself produces scavenging effect.
NA needs back pressure to help scavenging of exhaust gas from cylinders.
