Default turbo/distributor clearence issues on ssautochome manifolds?

I just got my ssautocrome turbo manifold and it looks great (way better than some headers for my m3 I got a couple of years back). I just heard that there may be a problem with these manifolds causing the turbo not to clear the distributor? Is this tru? Is it for all turbos or only big ones?

Anyone got a picture of the 2jzge manifold installed?

I have an SS AutoChrome Manifold also and I was wondering the same thing. I know that JPI manifold does not clear because my boy had one and had to get the boost logic manifold.

Couldn't you just weld a different flange on the manifold at the correct angle to clear the dizzy??(correct me if I'm wrong experts) check clubna-t there was a discussion about this in the iono-moto thread.

Yep that's the flange I welded on clocked a few degrees out. Obviously the original flange's bolt holes won't line up so I switched to studs for the new flange.

Mine is the Toyomoto manifold designed for the vvt-i cars (no dizzy). As far as I know the generic ones flying about are copies of this manifold so the mods are all the same across the board.
