Thumbs up sure...

i think alhambra would be good, because some members live in the west side, and the food and drinks in alhambra is tasty, large portion and reasonable price, not to mention varieties of tea and coffee avavilable.

i am all for it. how is garden cafe sound?

INTERNAL SERVER ERROR!!! hate that when I've typed like a full page and then everything's gone when I come back.......

anyways, let me retype in a brief way....

Garden cafe = hard to park. the tiny parking lot is too crowded.

Baccari Cafe = across from Garden in Alhambra. Taste better, bigger dishes, costs the same as Garden.

You guys

Rowland Heights Garden = easy to park. Tastes better than Alhambra.

You guys decide time/date/location. I'll do my best to cooperate.

Default March 24?

What the hell is this internal service error crap............ I just lost everything that I have typed!

Okay, let's try one more time.......

Hey guys,

When you do plan your next meet, I mean after this March event, can you guys please give us a little more advance warning. This will give us the almost Tijuana people an opportunity to meet up with you guys.

Thanks......

R. Leaf.... whoops, I meant Doug Flutie........

I agree... let's try to plan at least 2-3 weeks in advance so that we can get more people to show up... a Saturday afternoon in mid April would be great. Where is everyone coming from??? San Diego up to Ventura? We could also coordinate with is300.net too-- there are a lot of members there that live in Southern California too.

Yea... we should coordinate with the IS300.NET page... I'd like to meet up for something in about 2/3 weeks from now..

Disc:

I'm only in Irvine on weekdays during school and sometimes off school. Most of the time and weekends I live in La Palma/Cerritos, right between LA and Orange county.

Nice place. Center of everything. North there are Alhambra/San Gabriel and Rowland Heights. South there are Tustin and Irvine. East there are Riverside and Anaheim. West there are the beaches and LA. So anywhere Irvine or San Gabriel Valley area I'm cool with it. Just hope the time is okay.....

And yeah, let's plan ahead. Would be cool if it's all planned out. That way we can get more people.

SOMEONE SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE MEET!!!

If no one comes up with any suggestions I'll throw some out.

What about, some April saturday, like 7th or 14th, around noon time, in one of these locations:

1) San Gabriel --> Garden Cafe (Valley and Garfield)
2) San Gabriel --> Baccari Cafe (also Valley and Garfield)
3) San Gabriel --> Chuan Tong Plaza, the one with the chinese department store and etc. (Valley and Del Mar)
4) Rowland Heights --> Garden Cafe (Colima and Fullerton)
5) Rowland Heights --> Stone Grill, formerly Speedster Cafe location (Colima and Azusa)
6) Rowland Heights --> Life Plaza (in Diamond Plaza, Fullerton and Gale right off the 60)

San Gabriel area is where the 10 freeway is, between the 605 and the 710 freeways.

Rowland Heights is off the 60 freeway, between the 57 and the 605 freeway.

SPEAK UP GUYS!!! And let's make a namelist or something. Get this thing organized and let's all have fun.
