I noticed the left side mirror gives me a non-uniform reflection image. It also has a blue tint and I think it is an auto-dimming mirror. However, the non-uniform reflection bothers me when I drive. Is this a defect that I should ask the dealer to take a look? The center and right side mirrors are perfectly fine.

 

If you mean that the objects in mirror are distorted, then for many, many years, right mirrors are made curved to show more field of view. Thus, these mirrors have etched disclaimer “Objects in mirror are closer than they appear”.

 

As a kid, I remember cars from the 80s having that etched in the mirrors.

 

I am not talking about the right mirror. It is the left mirror that has the non-uniform distortion. The image appears slight bigger at one spot in the middle.
