AC outlet in 450h+
So I was a bit bummed that Lexus didn't include the 1500 watt AC outlet in the NX like you can get in the RAV4 Prime. I'd like to get something that can handle a bit more watts than just the small inverters that plug into a lighter plug, which top out around 150 watts. I'd like something around 400 watts that can power a high end laptop or such. Given the 12v battery location in the 450h+, connecting such an inverter to it would be much easier than in most cars, where the battery is under the hood.
However, given how the low voltage and high voltage stuff is all tied together, I'm reluctant to try such a thing without knowing in great detail what's acceptable and what's not. Anyone know a safe, warranty compliant way to add an AC outlet with decent wattage handling to the 450h+?

I've seen that only the 350 - non hybrid has it. I'm not sure why, but it seems that it's the only model of the 2022 NX that does.
Note: Since the 12V battery doesn't start the ICE it doesn't normally do much, it's only really used in accessory mode (and Neutral?). I wonder how robust (what gauge) the cabling to it is since it doesn't have to provide the ~500 cranking amps most vehicles would. Assuming the cables can meet your inverter demand I don't foresee any issues (if not, you might consider connecting directly to the converter... where the battery is ultimately connected). Anyone know how the RAV4P inverter is connected? Just make sure you're not charging, everything is off, disconnect the 12V negative terminal, and after 10 minutes there will be no danger of high voltage (the battery disconnects internally when off and/or without 12V power).
(I'm supposed to get mine soon; so, can't help further.)
Hello. I have an NX 450h+. When I charge using a household 3 prong plug, the charging appears to pull too much current and the breaker pops, typically within a hour of charging but sometimes less and sometimes a bit more. Is there a charger that pulls less current? An adapter? A setting in the car?
