Default Sorry, The network is busy please try again later

Messing around with Lexus navigation because of my recent discovery that the turn information is showing up in my heads up display and it did not used to, and today I’m getting this network is busy a lot and I’m curious if others get it very often and I’m not sure why it would be if I’m in a area where it normally works which I am.

Also, after you ask for directions and it says go now? Is there a voice command way to say go now or do you just say yes but do you have to say hey Lexus first etc.

PS …I use Siri to dictate these comments and I don’t know how to make it capitalize the first word of a sentence.

Soft reboot fixed.

What is predictive efficient drive? (settings, navigation, route options)…got the info online, basically learning your habits

I see this often, but I haven't had a chance to look into it yet.

And if you are at a stop and the screen goes to the settings you can’t talk to Lexus, it’s confusing because you can say you want directions but if you do it at the same time you’re slowing down and coming to a stop the screen changes and it stops looking for the directions for you.

I know how to change the settings so the screen doesn’t change but I don’t want to.

Soft reboot fixed it for now.

You can just say 'yes' when it asks if you want to go now, you don't have to say 'Hey Lexus' first. If you say 'no' it will go to the next destination option if one is available, or cancel navigation if there are no other options. You can also say 'cancel' to end navigation regardless where you are in the destination option list. I don't know about your other question, as my nav display (I don't have the HUD) doesn't change when I come to a stop.

Thanks, without heads up display I’m assuming the 14 inch screen reverts to the camera showing you what is in front of you when you come to a stop unless you’re system does not include that option?

With my system I have the choice of having the screen stay on whatever it’s on all the time, or when you come to a stop or slow way down the camera activates and you see what’s in front of you on the screen. I absolutely love this because I’m always parking short in perpendicular parking, this allows me to pull up because I can see what’s in front of me.

Something I really liked with my Toyota Highlander was if I had paused sound system any part of it radio or an app on my phone like a podcast I could unpause it by hitting the volume button. Can’t do that now.

Nope, I don't have that option - is it part of the 360 camera system or something? I can see the benefit, although I don't think I'd like my display switching every single time I come to a stop.

Yes, part of the 360° camera system, you can set it to revert to the cameras or not, this way I always know what’s in front of me and beside me when in any parking situation, it’s really really great.

Or you could pull forward until the nanny braking system puts on the brakes for you.

Edit - Guess that would only work if there were a car there. Never mind since I can't delete this.

If anyone has this feature I can’t imagine not liking having it and being glad you can see around you.

It’s a game changer for me with my depth perception issues as I get older.

I also like the x-ray vision of being able to see what is underneath the NX.

Do you have the HUD with the associated multi-function touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel? If so, you can use the MODE button to pause or un-pause your audio. This is the top button when the left-hand steering wheel buttons are linked to the Audio control. Simply press and hold the MODE button for a few seconds to pause or un-pause. You may need to switch the left-hand function from Phone to Audio before you can do so - this can be done by pressing the larger button at the bottom of the controls (has an icon on it that looks like a page of paper). Hope this helps.

Thanks, I have not been using that I will check it out. What I am referring to is if it is paused for any reason you can unpause it by simply hitting the volume up or down button on the steering wheel on the Toyota but you can’t do it on the Lexus.
