Default Digital Key

Just setup the digital key for my 450h+ on an Android device. Google Pixel 6Pixel
After a few tries, I was able to set it up. However, when I try to lock the car, it keeps beeping saying there is a key in the vehicle. Anybody has this experience?

No. The wallet key is in the house, battery pulled out. It's my phone that the car is detecting.

Ok just a idea. That is what was causing ours to do that. Dealer left the card in the glove box.

But the would happen even if you use a normal key fob. I turned off the digital key setting and things got back to normal.

So downloaded the ios app on my iphone and login with my account. Looks like it works with the iPhone. But it consider it as another profile and not the primary driver. I guess i should just disable the feature until it's cleared up.

I do own both Android and iPhone. So I could get it working.

Just curious if the digital key has any benefit as far as theft prevention? Can someone still plug a device into your OBD port and create a new key if you are only using the digital key?
