Don't want to see those wires, any recommendations? Dealer one cost $600 plus tax. Thank you!
You can buy anyone online and get it installed at a shop and they can hide the wires along headliner and then behind A pillar to fuse
There's lots of options from well known Blackvue to cheaper ones off Amazon...depends on brand and features you want ..but price of dashcam won't have anything to do with whether wires are hidden

I think i posted the fitcamx which makes it look like oem. But I never tried it. When I ordered my NX it was not available yet, so I went for the Lexus one in Canada.

I've had 0 issues with the FitCamX on my Lexus IS. If its available for the NX I highly recommend it. My only suggestion would be to get a 64GB MicroSD High Endurance card. Don't go past 64gb or some of the app functions will cease working. And go high endurance since it is a dashcam. It brings a 64gb Sandisk card in it, but given it's chinese nature, I'm 99% sure its a counterfeit Sandisk card and some users have reported the card crapping out after 2 months.

I am installing a Thinkware F200 pro with the rear camera using the hardwire kit. The fuse box is located under the steering column toward the left side and there are a few empty fuse slots for hot and acc connection. Using a couple mini fuse taps make the install easier and cleaner. I ran the wire to the back under the weather stripping. The only hard part is to remove the cover in the tail gate to fish the wire through. I thought I was going to break the panel, that’s how hard I had to pull. In the end, nothing break. Have a look at the picture below so you know where the clips are if you are doing it yourself.

How difficult was it to get into the fuse box? Is the location identified in the manual? I’m expecting my 350h to arrive this week and I’m trying to decide between the Fitcamx (for ease of installation) and the Blackvue (for its parking mode). If I decide on the Blackvue I’ll need to get access to the fuse box.

The fuse box location is in the manual, but it still took me a couple minutes to find it as it is pretty small.
Take a look at the picture below and hope it wi give you a better idea. I would have bought the Fitcamx if they are available from Amazon. I chatted online with the Fitcamx for a bit and they asked me to send them an email, but I have yet to get a call and decide not to wait since I already bought the Thinkware dashcam prior to picking up the NX.

very helpful, thanks! I couldn’t find the Fitcamx on Canadian Amazon either.

You can follow the link above to buy the Fitcamx directly from the manufacturer. But I just prefer to buy from NA vendors or Amazon in case there is issue with the dash cam.
