Thanks for all the help in this thread. I successfully installed the puddle lamps purchased from MVP Auto Parts, having used a thin-blade putty knife to remove the inserts first. It was all as easy as everyone said, and the lamps look great! I won't go to the trouble of photos, because they will just look like everyone else's.

I chose MVP because they ship from the USA (Florida). It took several days, but that's better than waiting on the slow boat from China.

Quote: I didnt think my pictures uploaded because I couldn't see them in my post! Yes they are the best I've seen, i love them!
I found my door lights on Etsy and had them shipped from Spain. Here's a tip if anyone else decides to swap out the interior stock lights with LEDs. Packing tape is your friend. I saw YouTube videos of people taking the units off and apart to get the bulb out. I got all out of them out by wrapping packing tape around the bulb and pulling each one out. No need to disassemble your car to replace interior lights.

Maybe this was mentioned in the previous pages, I'll admin to not looking, but be aware of someone on one of the FaceBook NX groups that bought cheap third party puddle lights from AliExpress that shorted out the wiring in her door that wouldn't let her get in the car or, I think, even start the car. She had to have it flat bedded to the dealer.

Quote: Danny200t, my 350h is going to be delivered with side and rear puddle lamps. I had no choice. I am paying $222 CAD for the side puddle lamps and $191 CAD for the rear puddle lamps. So I say you found a good deal!
That’s usually the case, considerably more expensive for the dealer installed options.
I added the Illuminated door sills, I already had the puddle lights. Lexus.com lists the price for the IDSills @ $460.00 - My local dealer charged me $292. - I installed them, they were easy to install. They look classy 🤓 (2025 NX 350 - mine)

Probably not a factory defect, but a cable pinching due to incorrect installation. It's interesting that the fuse didn't blow.

3D version from lexusacc.com
I bought mine from lexusacc.com (3D version) & they look great! Installed about 2 years ago & they have held up fantastic. Provide ample light at night & are not overly visible in the daytime.

Here is a side-by-side in my garage with no lighting & then with the garage door open.

Have these in our 24 RX and 23 NX and installed in two friends Lexus's. Much better then cheap dim ones on Amazon.
