I got those light also and they were relatively easy to install (removing the piece that was there on the passenger door took a little bit of patience to get off). They pop nicely at night.
Added some FSport puddle lights today to our NX. Used a set from eBay and bought a second set from Amazon that had the adapter harness. The good thing is any light from 2010 and up will work in our doors. Just need the inexpensive harness since the NX has a newer smaller connector. No need to spend the amount Lexus charges for the OEM ones.
I have these F Sport lights installed too but found they were blueish and seems not sheen enough to my standard until I found these OEM ones only for Japanese market. But they are so expensive USD$400 for a pair, shipping not included for international.
Does anyone found a better source to purchase? (Saw similar ones on ebay Japan or other sources but not as good as these OEM ones). And the seller did not reveal the part number in Japan.

Finally got this aftermarket ones installed, much better looking than the previous ones. Matches the F Sport badge and the tool attached (a thin tiny screw) was much easier to install. Previous supplier gave an orange plastic trim which was difficult to remove the original lights. I found this in AliExpress. Keyword “Lexus Nx Fsport puddle lamp”. AUD 49 shipment included.

It is no longer on the Aliexpress site, but these were the order details: "USESS Store Car Door Light Icon Laser Projector Lamp Welcome Guests Personality Atmosphere For LEXUS LS/ES/IS/LX/RX/GS/GX/LC/RC/UX LX-icon, 2pcs, CHINA"
Be careful not to buy the more common, large connector Lexus puddle light! The new Lexus OEM lamp connector is small:
Finally got my puddle light installed and as mentioned before I didn’t go for the Lexus logo as it’s not bright enough imo. I used the same led light kit that I use on our RX350 and it is much brighter, Thanks again from all members for your input otherwise I wouldn’t have known that our NX actually has a puddle light connection ready.
I know this was over a year ago, but I'm having trouble finding anything like these puddle lamps with the wiring harness adapter. Also, I'm not interested in the projector style, just lighted like the ones I've attached above. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m new to the form and also new to Lexus ownership. I about a base NX 350h and found out that there are no puddle lights on either of my front doors. I tried to open the black caps that the car came with and found that there is no wiring or whatsoever. Did anyone of you tried to install the puddle light on the base model with the wiring and stuff like that? What sort of installation charge am I looking at if I have to go that route ?

I have a Premium NX350h. From the research I've done, the Base does not come with wiring for puddle lamps. I haven't taken the caps off of my doors yet, but some (with Premium model) have reported that the wiring isn't attached to the caps and is shoved somewhere behind the door panel.
Everybody says it's so easy to pop off the trim where the side door lights go in, so I bought a set of trim removal tools. But when I try to use them, there's not even a sliver of space into which to insert the tool. Should I just hammer it? Is there a trick to it?
