I can’t seem to get the Lexus app to schedule climate settings. I’d love the car to warm up every weekday morning automatically. But trying to create a schedule from app always gives an error “Your climate reservation could not be updated”. Anyone got this to work?

 

​​​​​​I had not seen this feature advertised any where, can anyone confirm this is suppose to work? Seems like a great idea as I head out the door the same time every morning. Would love to hear someone has this working.

 

Well the UI is in the app it so they must have shipped this thinking it worked!

Climate schedule, or maybe schedule climate?

Sounds like it would be easy to search an electronic version of the owner's manual?

 

Anyone know if climate schedule works in Canada? I have a 450h+ and I am able to add schedules but they don’t run at the scheduled times. I have tried leaving my charger plug-in but it does not help. I would like to have a warm cabin and seat for the morning drive but have no luck getting it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I don't use the schedule. I set up the climate setting I want and press start when I put on my shoes. By time I get to car it is ok.

 

In the app, once the car is selected, there is a CLIMATE menu item, in the latest app version under that button you can set the CLIMATE when the START button is pressed and make a schedule. I have not tested the scheduling, but I can confirm that the app works when the START button is pressed.

 

Yes, I can confirm the manual start works and climate is working as set on the app. I am trying to figure out to be schedule climate on without manual start.

 

I just setup for tomorrow morning. I'll see if it does it or not.

 

So I set it up last night for this morning and I noticed that the car did wake up to do something as the battery was fully charged and I got notifications that it was charging again which typically happens if I remote start. But it didn't really warm up the cabin. So I don't think it did what it should do.

 

LSFT, thanks for taking the time to experiment with it. I also noticed that if I schedule an one off schedule, the radio button will be toggled off after that time. So I believe the app knows about the scheduled event but sometime is preventing the climate control to take effect.

 

I think I have figured out the prerequisite for schedule climate to work … lock the doors. My car is in my garage and always unlock, that’s why schedule climate did not work. This morning I locked the doors and tried schedule climate and it worked.

 

My doors were locked as well. But I was charging.
