Default Nx Software Version

We post a lot of tech info regarding our entertainment system and Vehicle customization. So I thought I would take a little time this morning and create a baseline of what I see on a 2026 NX acquired four months ago with active subscription on all services.

Keep in mind that these software versions are for California only. I know our Canadian brethren may have different versions.

I have connected my NX to my home Wi-Fi network and have no OTA updates available. Gone through my first service check and my dealer also indicated that they were no updates available.

So as of this writing, this is what I see. These versions are displayed when you go into vehicle, software update, model info.

If anyone has any newer versions on their model and are located in US, can you please post?

Checked as of 2026-05

Module Info: Version
HU SW: 2234 (Head Unit Software)
CA SW: 2234
VP SW: 2150 (Vehicle Parameters)
GD SW: 3253
VD SW: 2230 (Voice Recognition Database)
OD SW: 2150
SM SW: 1001
AP SW: 1400
MT SW: 1001 (Meter SW)

I cannot find any reference online what the acronyms mean. I could guess on a couple but not sure. If anyone has that info and would like to post would be awesome.

Thank you. I’ve amended my original post to indicate those in parentheses. Just curious I don’t see a VE. Is that a typo or available on certain trims.

Both VE/VD are mentioned in bulletins, I guess it's shown as one field on info screen or something like that
