Poor Turning Radius
Hi everyone, I'm on my third NX and I finally did it. I park in a parking garage underneath my condo building and there are some very tight turns. I wiped out my passenger side quarter panel, the one spot where proximity sensors aren't located. And I have the 360 camera.
I've had a 19, a 22, and now a 25. I have to do several maneuvers (four point turn, etc) to get in. Other people in bigger vehicles BMW, Audi, etc seem to have a better turning radius. Does anyone notice the NX takes up a ton of space to turn? I think the 22 and 25 have the wheels pushed way out to the corners and this is part of it. I might want to find a different model after this one. Going to be an expensive body shop trip.

Just for fun, I looked up the specifications and compared NX to BMW X3, X5 and the Audi Q3 and Q5. The NX beats all of them, not by very much at all, an inch or two in some cases. They are all quite similar... FWIW...

Here is what AI says - if the NX is not good enough. You'll most likely going to hit the panels for the German 3 as well. The 2025 Lexus NX possesses a highly competitive turning radius, frequently matching or beating key German luxury competitors, making it agile for its size in urban environments. The 2025 Lexus NX has a turning circle of approximately 38.0 to 38.1 feet (11.6 meters).
Turning Circle Comparison (Curb-to-Curb)
Lexus NX: ~38.0–38.1 feet (11.6 m)
Audi Q5: ~38.4–38.7 feet (11.7–11.8 m).
Mercedes-Benz GLC: Generally similar to Audi, often around 38.5-39+ feet depending on configuration.
BMW X3: ~40.0 feet (12.2 m)
The Genesis GV70 gives you 0.3 feet tighter. But I'm not sure if that will avoid a panel casualty.
Genesis GV70 ~37.7 feet (11.5 m)

Best approach would be to sharpen your driving skills, I know underground parking / garages are the absolute worst! The NX is not big by any measure of comparison. Yet I have trouble getting mine to fit in a space that will give me sufficient room to open my darn door! Hello the whole concept of parking is that you're almost certainly going to leave your car! Unless you're just looking for a quiet place to take a car a nap.
We have been in the same parking situation as yours for five years and had a '21 Venza, '25 UX, and now a '25 NX350h Luxury.
I find the turning radius just fine and have had other vehicles over the years that were noticeably worse.
Thanks to the other members who looked up & posted the specs of competing vehicles.
