I understand why you would want to turn off your parking sensors...like going through a carwash. But why is it necessary to have a glowing green P on the dashboard when they are on? More importantly, why can't you turn that light off while keeping the parking sensors on. Nit picky, I know, but...

 

Mine are off and I think I get that light too sometimes. I always thought it was telling me the automatic headlights are on.
My parking assist is off because I have the tow bar license plate holder ( have to have a front plate in my state &#128078.

 

I agree that it's an annoying random light on the dash. Wish it was just a light on the button, like the blind spot monitoring. Being inconsistent is probably what bugs me.
