Adaptive cruise control
So, drove about 117 miles on ACC and suddenly it shut off. No way to get it to turn on except to stop, shut off engine and restart. What? Is this a safety feature?

That is exasperating. I recently rented a Genesis that kept randomly dropping the ACC. Fortunately, I was able to just restart it immediately. As to your question, that is NOT a design feature. Time to visit the dealer. Might be hard for them to duplicate though so I don’t know how they will respond. Perhaps it threw a code or left some other digital trail. Good luck.
