Company that did our paint protection film did our 2023 NX and 2024 RX infotainment screen. They did a different film and best $70 ever spent. Fingerprints are almost eliminated, glare and reflection 98% reduced and of course protection.
I put one on my 22. As mentioned, not really necessary, but I hate fingerprints and it’s easy to clean, cheap, and a layer of protection for the factory screen.
I bought one, for $25 I feel like it’s worth it. My family seems to scratch everything else on this car, might as well protect a part you’re actually suppose to touch. We plan on keeping it for many years and the dealer said the touch screen is $18,000 canadian to replace new. So I got a $25 screen protector.
The dealer had left the temporary plastic protective cover when I took delivery. I kept the temporary one on until I recieved the tempered glass screen protector. The nice thing is no fingerprints and also protects the screen from scratches.
I bought this one and it went on easily. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BL1SBWH9?th=1

Just curious, how does a glass screen get scratches when only your fingers are touching it ?

YMMV,

Thought about that also. What happened when the mechanic was holding the screw driver or something sharp and was adjusting the infotainment and "accidentally" scratched it. There are lots of other possibilities.
The screen protectors are cheap and if the infotainment screen once scratched (hard to get it fixed, it's marked forever) until you replace the whole unit.

On our RX350L, the mechanic damaged our radio while working on something else with the AC unit. Go figure.
We reported it to the dealership and after some debating, the dealer ate that $10K (new radio). Not sure why the mechanic was messing with the radio probably to get a short cut to do the ac repair.
