Wife was complaining that the screen was a fingerprint magnet. I tried out this screen protector for about $15 and it works great. Figured I'd share. I find I get a lot less fingerprints than before and for whatever reason the sensitivity feels a bit better as well. The screen used to keep detecting a drag instead of touches which lead to a ton of miss-clicks but now it seems more accurate. Got it from the usual cheap china websites.

I just got my 2024 RX ppf and tinted windows. Had them for the first time put a matte film on the infotainment system screen. Reduces 90% of the glare and fingerprints and of course adds a layer of protection. Getting our NX done next week.

Did you put a clear film or tinted film on the infotainment screen? Does it go all the way and cover all the piano black or just the screen part?
It is a matte finish film like they use for the ppf on bumper hood etc. Covers all the way to the bottom around the temp controls. Glare from camera is deceptive. No glare in the sunlight no reflections. Fingerprints have almost all disappeared.
The link for the tempered glass that I mentioned above has two versions too, the HD Clear one, as well as Matte one + I think tempered glass would be tougher than PPF and probably much easier to apply just my 5 cents

Absolutely agree about the glass easier to install than the film. I would never have attempted the film. My company that does it are incredible installers. Amazing the fit.
,
one for my MX-5, one for our NX.
I installed the MX-5 one, and get rainbow effects partially obscuring the display when I use polarized sunglasses.
Plus it was more reflective than the bare screen.
So I returned the NX one before installing.
