I'm not prepared to pay Lexus for a map that is not superior than the free ones available on my iphone. Nor do I believe that the Lexus app is something I can't live without, so I'll keep my $20 Canadian monthly fee to spend elsewhere.

The extension is not available in Canada. It's only for USA.

mine is about to expire and I don't remember seeing the email and if I'd gotten it probally deleted as spam..

The link below looks to be broken.. anyone have the current link handy ?

So, I just went through the process to extend. This link [[url]https://support.lexus.com/s/questions-comments?topic=Multimedia%20Technology&subtopic=Offer%20Redemption] should (I think/hope) be usable by anyone. They say the offer is only good for 90 days from the date of the email, but I'm not sure they have a way to track this if you use the below rather than clicking on the link in the email. You'll need the email you've registered the app to (in my case, it was my wife's, which is why I couldn't find the email in my own inbox) and your VIN.

ps The email confirmation says it will take 5-7 business days to process your request.

I think this is a universal offer for all owners (at least all US and maybe Canadian). I think Lexus realized they messed up and this was a way to fix it "on the cheap" by only giving it to persistent PITAs like Club Lexus users.

I do think it is available for Canada because when you go through the process you are asked for country, and Canada was one of the options.

My email came 40 days before my cancellation date (today - happy Lexusversary to me!) from Lexus-Interface@reply.lexuscommunications.net with the subject line noted below ("[NAME], Complimentary Digital Key Extension").

Hope this helps anyone else ... happy to help pay it forward!

Matthew

Thanks! i think it was something in my network at home.. i was getting SSL warnings etc.. I did it from the outside and tried but it states that my vin is ineligible.

Is this open for everyone in the US ? or based on some feature or option on the car? ours is 23 350h premium...

I believe subscriptions in USA like Canada last for 3 years so your's is still another year away from expiration. You can use the Lexus app to look up your existing subscriptions and it shows the expiration dates too. As others in previous posts have stated they were only a month or so from expiration date of their subscription - in USA - . I don't believe any other country has this offer available to them so count your lucky stars!

I see. So did you buy your car on Nov 13 2022? It seems odd to me that your model year is a 2023 yet your trial subscription is ending only after 2 years and not 3. I would look on your manufacture sticker found on driver's door post near bottom. It will show the date of manufacture listed there. I've looked into USA trial subscriptions and they say they are for 3 years and that would be from date of activation. Here's a link from Lexus USA stating the trial is for three years.

https://www.lexus.com/models/NX?link[model_technology_overlay][SHOW_PAGE]=true

" Remote Connect*

With Remote Connect, you can remotely start your Lexus, lock and unlock doors, check vehicle status and more—all through the Lexus app on your compatible smartphone. 3-year trial included. 4G network dependent. "

We bought the 23 year model in Nov of 2022 so expiration at Nov 2025 is correct.

Were there any specific options thats needed for the extension offer?

Sorry I couldn't answer that myself, living in Canada we haven't been given this offer so far, it's only for US sales. I would keep trying the link others have posted above as it's most likely date related somehow, meaning as you get closer to your trial period end date it may work.
It's definitely a great offer to get if you can!
