It might come handy some day, better be ready than wait till something happens. Get yourself NOCO from their website as there is a coupon or something available and is often cheaper there than from Amazon, but do some shopping around, it also have some accessories for it if you want some extra cables, extensions, or hard wire the cable to your battery for easy connection whenever you like. I have NOCO Genius5, it has 12v battery repair mode, not sure how effective it is, but still nice to have. I used the repair feature like 2 times when I killed my battery lol figured doing something to the battery better than doing nothing.

So you just clipped this to your posts and plugged it into the wall. Is there a trickle setting on this 5. I looked at it on amazon

The only setting is the type of battery. That's it. Watch the video up in the post #4 and it shows the installation and setup.
