so after my car sitting for 3weeks awaiting my air sus my battery had hardly any charge so got a new one now my yellow top is dead not even a small charge and this is after my air sus was in, yet my battery cable for the compressure isnt even hooked up only the wire for the controller and purssure switch is connected, so why after only a week or so its dead? could the controller be killing it? my trunk had been open for a while few days but i took out the light could that of killed it?

 

Something is draining your battery, I had the same problem where even if your trunk or hood is closed the light was still on, I changed the recepticals and blubs and no problem. I know others have had this same problem and did other things.

 

Well the entire light and socket was out in the trunk, just jumped it n started right up so should I let it charge n close trunk n hood n see what happens tmrw?

 

to charge an optima battery u need to trickle charge it at 2 amps for 2 days or so, dont blast a 10 amp charge into it. unhook the battery and charge it, dont use ur alternator to charge it as its not made for that, alternators are made to maintain a battery,not recharge a dead one
