#2- auto locking the doors can be done via a shortcut. On iOS I have a shortcut that activates the shortcut in the Lexus app called Lock Doors. The shortcut activates that command 45 seconds (you can vary the time) after the car disconnects from Bluetooth. It’s reliable if I’m not still messing around near the car after 45 seconds.
Interesting. I was going to try one of those just for fun except I wouldn't want function #10 which automatically beeps the horn twice if you leave the car without locking it as I don't lock my car while in the garage and there are times in my driveway I don't lock it either and wouldn't want to hear the horn beep twice all the time in those circumstances.
I presume all the customary Lexus safeguards will remain enabled: a) car will chirp and not lock if a key fob remains
inside the car, b) car will not lock if any door or hatch is ajar (will lock with sunroof or window(s) open however).

Yes. The shortcut just activates the lock shortcut that’s in the Lexus app.
So if you let your Lexus App subscription lapse the feature would not work if it's simply back dooring into the paid subscription of the Lexus App. I believe it's complimentary for 2 years then you need to pay per month.
