Small issues
Just getting acquainted with my 2024 FSport 2 and have a few questions.
1. Can the fob open and close the windows when locking and unlocking?
2. Can the car automatically lock itself when you leave it?
3. I can't seem to get my Chamberlain garage door programmed to the NX. I followed the instructions to no avail.
4. Can you open all 4 windows with one button?
Thanks for your input.

2. No
3. I have mine setup to both. You might need to press the learn button on the garage door opener
4. Personalized setting as #1
I think the garage door is little tricky and not as simple as it used to be on older vehicles like 1 press the learn button on your garage, and 2 press and hold homelink in your car. I think NX wants to use the clicker for your garage next to the mirror when you setting it up, you press and hold the button on your clicker and then press and hold the button on the mirror, something like that. Take a look in your manual for details

The car itself won't automatically lock up your car if you walk away without locking it, but if you have setup the app on your phone, your car will send a message thru the app to alert you that your doors are unlocked and if you've left the windows down too. Then on the app you can summon to lock the doors. But, I don't think through the app you can close up windows.
The Lexus logic used on this car is a little weird, as many other brands offer much simpler and more logical solutions to some simple requests.

OP,
#1a: The fob can be enabled to do the Remote Window & Sunroof Open.
At the first Complimentary Visit ask the Service Writer to add this to your
personalized settings. Also ask for the Key Window Roll Up.
#1b: Your windows have an Anti-Jam feature, if the window or sunroof encounter
an obstruction when closing they reverse part way. Try this by lifting and releasing
the window control switch then place the Owner's Manual in the closing gap. If you
are in a dangerous situation that requires you force the closure then lift and hold the
window switch. You may need to do this if you added Vent Visor accessories in the
channel. This overrides the Anti-Jam feature while you are close enough to watch.
While you will then be able to roll down the windows within the range of the fob and
possibly out of sight of the car by pressing and holding the Unlock button, you cannot
remotely roll up remotely by pressing and holding the Lock button because you might
not see an obstruction such as a hand or head or paws.
#2: No Lexus will Auto Lock when you leave without triggering the lock. One feature that
does lock the car is (confusingly) call Auto Relock and even has an adjustable time
interval in Settings... works like this, you deliberately or accidently Unlock the car from
the fob, you do Not then open any door. 60 seconds (default) later it will lock all doors.
Seems to be intended to safeguard in case you inadvertently press the unlock rather
than Lock when leaving.
#3: What color is the antenna wire hanging from the Opener? Plain grey/white or Bright Red/Yellow?
Try the online Chamberlain instructions rather than the Lexus book.
#4: see #1a above. The button press will open all four (4) windows and also the sunroof if set
that way. Note: they begin to open at slightly different times and if you intend them to be only
partially open as I do, they will be all at slightly different opening sizes. Hold long enough and they
will all be fully open, but I like to just vent a hot car with slightly open windows.

I had similar issues with the Myq app.
I will call Chamberlain.

I was able to program in my Chamberlain MyQ enabled door opener by using the learn button on the opener. My wired remote button also has a learn button which I was able to use for programming another remote, but for some reason I had to use the learn button on the opener itself before the NX's homelink would program in. Maybe I missed something the first time but second time was the charm. Its a relatively new opener, perhaps only 4 yrs old. I really like how the NX mirror is able to display the status of the door opener, it shows in my digital view when the door is open, when is opening, when its closing, and when its closed. Nice touch.
I've seen this obd thing that I have not tried, but it does say that it will auto close the windows after you power off the car open the driver door.

#2- auto locking the doors can be done via a shortcut. On iOS I have a shortcut that activates the shortcut in the Lexus app called Lock Doors. The shortcut activates that command 45 seconds (you can vary the time) after the car disconnects from Bluetooth. It’s reliable if I’m not still messing around near the car after 45 seconds.
