Mu assumption is another computer module for the 360 system and the correct firmware/software for that

So I saw this video on youtube. Obviously it can be done aftermarket.

 

Another factor to consider. The 360 equipped vehicles have a button next to the middle AC vents that allow you to access the system and change settings.

 

Do you have a pic? The aftermarket video looks interesting… I think there was a Chinese aftermarket 360 cam add-on for the older NX 300 series

Actually found the aftermarket 360 cam listing — appears to actually be compatible with the NX 350 series as well. Comes with the mirror cameras, extra wiring, CPU box, etc. and says that it’s plug and play. Fairly cheap price too, so definitely would be worth it assuming it works

If anyone wanted to get the dashboard vent trim with the button, the part number is 55670F6010

but without taking it apart, there's no way to know if there's a cable inside the dash to connect it to.

but again, probably still a waste of time and money without the proper software

 

So I impulse bought this on eBay... I'll get around to tearing down the center console and seeing if the appropriate cable is sitting back there.

Damn. Worth trying at least. Does it look like any of the plugs from the aftermarket kit in the below photo would fit into the dash button I that trim piece?

 

Too hard to tell from that picture alone.

 

Actually, if this one on the top left was 7 pins, it would probably fit into the back of the trim piece.

 

I bet you'll need that silver processor module shown in the aftermarket kit to make the factory system recognize the cameras and show the view
