I saw this video. Unfortunately the Japanese market features does not always transfer over to the NA market. The Overtrail model looks like its going to make it over as a new model but the other feature details are murky.
So this video seems to confirm that the 2025 NX will be getting suspension and noise reduction improvements, at least in Japan. I doubt that Lexus would make these improvements only for cars to be sold in Japan, so I suspect these changes will be made for models sold in the US also.
I was planning to get a 2024 NX 350h this week, but am now thinking of waiting to see what changes happen with the 2025 model.
I don’t see anything about improved ride and quieter interior from 2024 model.
I noticed that also. But the height of the car and the ground clearance have increased, as was discussed in the post above re Canadian specs. I am thinking these increases are due to changes in the suspension. But if they really improved the handling/noise, you would think they would highlight it.
This article discusses improvements for the models to be sold in Japan.
As mentioned in the article, for Japan, "Lexus updated the NX's chassis with braces to improve rigidity and prevent rear body deformation, partnered with refined suspension tuning for better handling stability and ride comfort. Drive modes and cabin quietness have also been fine-tuned, while the NX350 trim has a revamped front and rear torque distribution - all for smoothness, linear acceleration, and overall comfort."
I would like to get better handling, comfort and quietness.
The 2024 model I was going to buy is supposed to arrive at the dealer this week. Now I need to decide whether to wait and test drive a 2025 and see if there were any changes. By that time, I assume the 2024 models will be gone.

Yes I noticed the ground clearance went from 7.7 to 8.07 that is a bigger jump considering how long this model has been out with the lower clearance.
If they made changes to handling and noise interior you would think they would have mentioned it in the official bulletin. Maybe it’s only for Japan?
I knew they were going to announce 2025 models now for the NX. Inventory has been really low at my local dealers. Lexus was not going to wait till the fall. I wouldn’t buy a 2024 now it’s already over a yr old.
I don't think the American market is that interested in the engineering improvements as a selling point as much as the Japanese. In any case there was no "Overtrail" announcment nor any drivetrain improvements. The price on the other hand increased markedly. 2024 2025
Maybe with the minor suspension tweak will improve ride quality and the increased ground clearance will reduce road noise because your farther away from the ground lol
I suspect you won’t be able to tell a difference because they haven’t actually acknowledged anything in the press release.
Lexus added standard equipment to the lower priced models - hence the large increase. For the model I am looking at, the price increased by about $350. If I can get better handling/quietness, I would gladly pay an extra $350.
