The lower end models get more bang for the buck while the Luxury models kinda get upcharged since the options were already standard. It is a toss up between getting the '24 and '25 450H+

I suspect you won’t be able to tell a difference because they haven’t actually acknowledged anything in the press release.
I currently drive a 2022 NX, and there is some body roll and somewhat rough ride at times. I chalked the rough ride up to the runflat tires, and determined that using sport mode smooths out the ride for me. The ride is good enough for me to want to get a second NX, but if the 25 models really are significantly improved as stated in the press release for Japan, I will wait and get a 25 model.

I would guess 2025 NX won’t be on lots for 2-3 months? It’s a shame we have to wait that long or until someone can test drive one to find out if they made changes to ride quality and noise insulation.

I'll be upgrading from a Prius so I'm sure it will be a night and day in either MY. I've also read there is a marked NVH difference between the 450h+ and 350(H) because of the weight difference and tuning from reviews.

Lexus is using old pics for the 2025 model. The 2025 F Sport photo on their press release page full interior shot of circuit red doesn’t even have the color on the glove box door, it’s black. Old photo for 2025. Come on Lexus get your photos correct and don’t be lazy.

LOL, the 5th gen Prius ( 2023 - ) is night and day difference from previous Priuses. I like my NX but I mostly drive the 2023 Prius LE , much sportier. The NX is nice luxury but it is big and handles like a barge.

Be wary saying the 2025 NX will be quieter, maybe. but handling better Ha and oxymoron. The NX will never handle well, nor be a sports car.

Never trust the flowery language of a press release that is not specific with facts, not subjective terms like better, quieter, stronger. I could make my chassis stronger by putting tape on it, but only 0.0000000000000000000000000000000001% stronger. Marketing folk and engineers never talk the same language.

The language in the Japan press release was very flowery, although I assume some of the context was lost in translation. However, it did specifically mention that braces that suppress the deformation of the rear body were added to improve body rigidity.

The newly released US specs show that both the overall height and ground clearance were increased. They had been the same for 2022-2024, so there definitely were changes made to the suspension.

I really like the way the new Prius looks. The NX I am looking at is for my short wife, and she wants a SUV so she can sit high and see everything. I sat in the Prius, and it would be way too low for her.

For my mainly short drives around town, my 2022 NX 350h handles fine. However, if Lexus really made improvements for 2025, I plan to wait until next month for the "improved" model rather than get a 2024.

There is a also the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia coming during the summer which slots between the NX and RX in price and size.

I looked into the Signia, as well as the outgoing Venza. For the Signia, in order to get a memory driver's seat, you need to get the Limited version, which comes with 21 inch wheels. I am very happy with the 18 inch wheels on the NX, and do not want to go with the 21 inch wheels, and their lower MPG. From what I have seen/read, the Signia otherwise looks nice, but I prefer the size of the NX.

I am not sure why Toyota has gone with such big wheels on the Crown models. I guess they think that is what the cool kids want.

So I spent some time going through the Lexus Japan website. From looking at press releases there, the height of the NX was 1660 mm for MY 22-24. For MY 25, the height has increased to 1675 mm, which is an increase of approximately .59 of an inch. So the changes in the JDM model added height to the car, similar to the added height for US models. The added height appears to be slightly more for the JDM models, which I suspect may be due to rounding since all listed dimensions on the Lexus Japan website end in 0 or 5.

I thought they were going to remove the standard smaller 9 inch screen. And just have the 14 inch one?

Lightbulb 14 wasted space

When you no longer have a split "home" screen the 14 inch with a single function is wasted space. The Toyota equivalent, RAV4 still has a home screen

The older generation could actually multitask and interpret more than one function at a time on a screen. and the newer generations call the single screen progress

YMMV,
