That was one of the changes for the Japan market that did not carry forward to the North American market.

Can anyone explain why the F Sport rides .39 of an inch lower ground clearance than a non F Sport? That is not even 1/2 and inch, why would Lexus feel the need to mention it in the specs? I don’t remember them singling out the F Sport in the specs on prior years between models?
It actually dropped from 7.7 to 7,68 to the naked eye can you even see that or feel it to be honest?

I contacted Lexus corporate about the height changes in the 25 vs. 22-24 models. I was advised they cannot tell me why the height changed, since that information is proprietary.

Its interesting to note that the height specs for the first couple years noted a height difference between cars with 18" wheels vs 20" wheels. Then suddenly the height spec has the exact same measurements but now its F-sport vs non F-sport. Coincidence or not? Did the car change or the method of measurement/documentation?

This is a bit like quantum physics, the measurement of an object is directly affected by the observer doing the observation and trying to measure one attribute more accurately just makes other measurements less accurate, LOL.

Standard call center response under the "what to say if you don't know the answer" section of the manual.

From what I have seen/read, the Signia otherwise looks nice, but I prefer the size of the NX.

I am not sure why Toyota has gone with such big wheels on the Crown models. I guess they think that is what the cool kids want.
The vehicle's wheelbase is longer than the NX or RAV4 and larger overall so the big tires probably are better for the ride and SUV feel. Maybe it's part of the "sporty" upgrades for Toyota. At the end of the day the Crown lineup is basically replacing the Avalon which used to appeal to the retired people.

my 2 cents.

It has a different suspension which helps with handling. It probably rides stiffer. I recall with BMW as well getting a sport suspension generally lowers the car, also by a really small amount like 10 mm. Specs do need to be accurate to the mm, otherwise why bother.

It's kind of like the 5 cents of interest that I earn each month in my bank account that offers a 0.01% per annum interest. It may not move the needle, but it needs to be reported accurately to the penny.

The Lexus site in the US has been updated with the build for 2025 NX and the 2025 vs 2024 NX 450H+ price difference is ~$700 because now included is the tri-beam Headlights and 6 Kw charger as standard equipment. ML sound system is not available on the F-Sport.

Looks like they got rid of the two-tone seat option.

The specs are now up also for the 2025 NX, and they do not show any increase in overall height. I wonder if they have not yet got around to changing the specs, or if the height really did not increase.

I see the 2025 picture but when I click on the build it takes you to 2024 model.

The video embedded in post #3 above mentioned an increase in overall height and ground clearance for the Canadian market 450h+. After seeing this, I looked at the Japan market specs and noticed a similar increase in overall height and ground clearance. When the US market specs were released last week, there was a similar increase in overall height and ground clearance.

https://lexus-cms-media.s3.us-east-2...duct_Specs.pdf

But there is now a difference in the specs released last week on the Lexus corporate website, and the specs currently listed on the Lexus sales website, which list the same overall height as last year.

The reason I am focusing on the possible change is that for the Japan market, Lexus mentioned improvements in handling/quietness of the 25 NX. I am trying to determine if the changes made for the Japan market carried over to the US market. If the height changed in both markets, then it makes me believe there were changes made in both markets.

I'm not sure if the ground clearance really matters or relates to the other tuning the NX may or may not have gotten. The main difference is the :"Overtrail" model which the Japan market received which probably includes the extra ground clearance. NVH tuning of the vehicle is probably "invisible" to the consumer in terms of specs (even if they added a ton of sound deadener, the weight added is negligible).

my 2 cents.

It’s quite terrible that we have to be detectives to figure out if we get the changes in the US.

May be a browser cache problem? It works for me.
