Default Open Window With FOB or App

Hello, I recently purchased a 2024 NX350H and wondered if you can remotely open or close the windows with the FOB or Lexus App. My family's older RX350 had this feature on the FOB. Also, can one remote start the vehicle via the Lexus app? Thanks in advance for your help.

Dealer can program the cart so that if you hold the buttons itt will OPEN the windows, sunroof itt both.

No way to choose it with remote.

I had that on on one of my older cars until the fob in my pocket was pushed and windows opened during rain. No more for me.

There are interesting options for customizing your car in the Carista app.
Using the application and the OBD II adapter, you can configure windows to close when you long press the close button on the key. You can turn off the sound when seat belts are not fastened and much more.
There is no need to go to the dealer.

Your official options. Column "B" indicates a dealer setting. Many dealers will offer a one time no-charge setting change so the least fuss approach would be to ask them. But as others have pointed out, the "dealer settings" really mean the settings must be done thru the ODBII port, and there are ODB apps and tools that allow you to make these settings yourself (and some that won't). Carista is a popular option but you also need a good ODBII adaptor (for phone apps, that usually means a blue tooth wireless one). Carista sells one too, but there are other good ones out there (ODBLink is another). Avoid the super cheap $10 ones if you decide to go this route. They fall into the "Do, or Do Not, there is no Try" category.

For $10, Aliexpress will already have good adapters with thousands of good reviews.I bought mine three years ago for $5, it works great, it tunes my Tiguan and now my wife’s Lexus.

I have a bunch that I use to hold my door open, got tired of them. They work, then they don't. They'll do one thing, but then not another. In the end I wanted one that could perform well in all situations and one that would allow me to do real time monitoring of my RX hybrids battery block voltages and electric motor status and energy flows on a custom dashboard. Those cheap ones just can't keep up, if they even last long enough. Baby toys.
