Few days ago I opened it from the key, not fob, and all windows dropped down about an inch. Of course, I closed all except pass rear one - and it's been raining for days.
Just noticed gap in window.
How do I disable this feature? Doesn't do it from fob.
Thank you
First Gen RX was launched when feature -rich automation was in infancy at Lexus. Most features were dealer configured settings, and the customer was given one time option to comeback to the dealer for free after purchase. Second visit would be charged at labor rates.
They are referred to as "CBest" options. See if you can find them listed somewhere.
Although if you get that working to your satisfaction, and it would eliminate a potential source, the only way to ensure how you leave the vehicle would be a visual check.
Basically, we're screwed. That's niece's car and her mind is whatever tiktok is currently streaming into her earbuds. I'll tell her to simply never open it from the key.

It does it from the fob too. If you hold the unlock button down for a few seconds or hold the key in the unlock position for a few seconds the windows will start to come down and the sunroof will open. It's semi-useful from the fob if you want to start airing out a hot car as you are walking up to it.

If I am not mistaken, he wants to disable that feature from key-fob ... to avoid accidentally lowering the windows from afar and not knowing what happened.
Exactly. She won't notice or leave something open and it rains constantly here. She's a teenager, mind is substituted with whatever is streaming off her iphone, to pay attention to such things as windows etc.
