My wife broke the lift gate light on the back. I want to replace it but want to make sure I have the right part number. What is the correct part number? Is this a repair I can do myself? I've changed switches/bulbs/etc in other cars I've owned.
My guess is that lens is part of the entire lighting assembly across the back of the car. You'll likely need to sit down before they tell you the price. I had to replace the headlight on my 2015 RX in 2015. That part alone was around $2300.00, 9 years ago!

Sorry to hear the damage man.
I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Fortunately the garage was tall enough and from the inside I heard the tailgate hits the garage door red pull handle. Scared the crap out of me, not a scratch.
Now I make sure I checked the rear view mirror before backing out.
