Default Anyone here use a Dashmat to cover the dash ?

I have one on the other vehicle and would like some protection of the dash . The only concern is, what about the speakers being somewhat covered, they do take up a large amount of square inches on the NX350 dash.
The company is Carcoverusa.com, they have a suede finish I would consider, but am wondering about the speaker coverage and how it looks overall.
I don't see any pictures on their website for the NX...
Anyone?

AliExpress offers several covers with different speaker hole designs, this is one of them: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...d=0E17NGOX6m1F

After being on hold for 38 minutes w carcoverusa which sells Dash Mat for the car, I found out they do not have any cutouts for the speakers....that is a "no go" for me.

Question

Sorry for the naive question, but 'what does the dash need to be protected from ?'

Thanks

C'mon guys, the purpose is to eliminate scratches, prevent direct sun deterioration of the dash and more importantly, not leave water spots on the new dash when you put your beer cans on the surface while driving......

A dash cover is probably more than likely scratch the dashboard under it.

Red face It would appear that a dash mat does indeed have a purpose....Damage control

So, back to the same original question....has anyone found a great mat that WONT cover the Speaker Grills for the NX350 vehicles....Looks like, if you read the included link, a Mother in Law is a potential culprit....the ones from AliExpress may not be a solution, the jury is out for now on that source

Thats a first, you are one of the most prolific posters....feelin ok?

As you can see, a number of NX owners find they are disappointed that their dash's get scratched easily..... so, the dash mat is a potential solution to a real concern...
