anyone have a dash cover on the dash, if so please post pics...

I don't think there's one out there for the IS. I don't really like the look of those things, but that's just my opinion.

well i know that you cant get a true cover through lexus, but there is a shop here in my town, i was just wondering if anyone had one and what it looked like.

A dash cover will affect the efficiency of the passenger air bag.

Safety is more important than aethetics...

well my reason is the hot sun that beats down on your dash, eventually it will get thrashed, i had a honda before and from the sun always beating on it my dash eventually had created a crack...very ugly.

Use a dash cleaner/conditioner with UV protection in it and also use a sunshade.

Dash cover on a Lexus? NAH. Use a sun shade/ windshield cover.

I agree this is definitely the better way to go. I live in South Florida where your car is always baking in the sun. I've used one of these on my Integra for over 10 years and the dash still looks as good as it was when it was new. With proper care, your dash should last with such things as a dash cover. Everytime I think of dash covers, I'm thinking of those things that look like they were made out of scrap carpet with a cut out for the airbag.

lol if thats the only dash cover available, I think it would be better just to get a sunshade and maybe ceramic tint the windshield

Cracked, bubbled, chipped and warped dashboards are a thing of the past. No need to cover them up anymore.
