Brake Icon is Lit, system malfunction
Anyone experience this notification? 22 NX350, we took this car to the dealer 2x already and no solution. I am bringing this back to the dealer for the the 3rd time . It goes on and off and it’s really frustrating. We bought this car for its reputation, reliability, safety and comfort. We are afraid to drive this car because of this notification.
@Giruto I just finished reading another thread about brakes. Sounds like it's related to me.

I just got this exact same notification yesterday. I had my digital key on me, and it wouldn't detect it and the car wouldn't start up. I exited the car, locked it, and went back in, and it started up, but then this message showed up and it doesn't go away even when I restart the car.
I made an appointment in the morning, but when I got into my car to drive home from work just now, the error message disappeared and everything functioned normally. I'll monitor the car for the next few days before my Saturday appointment.
take a picture next time so you have documentation, it happens to my wife’s car almost every week. The tech could not replicate the problem but I already sent them videos and pictures
from my experience when those types of lights come on, it typically means any ABS or other emergency braking functions are limited/disabled while the computer is showing an active fault.
did u take your car to the dealer?
Nope, cancelled the appointment as the error message never returned.
The following is just conjecture on my part, but I think excess water might be involved. I've seen this error message getting mentioned on some of the facebook groups and a common element seems to be the car was recently washed. Before I got the message for the first time, I did a simple hose down with my garden hose to get the pollen off, but I'm wondering if some excess water got into some of the sensors and screwed something up. The error message went away after I parked my car in the sun all day, so maybe whatever water was causing the issue must have evaporated.
